Who are we?

We are doctors and physicians of all fields from different medical mechanisms, who work in the social medicine. We are politically, world-descriptive and religiously independent. 

Which targets do we pursue?

• Perception and promotion of vocational, status-political and scientific interests in the social medicine of physicians. 
• Promotion of the inter-work contact and dialogue by occupation-referred information about current social-medical topics. 
• Representation of social-medical contents and interests in the committees of the health service, in particular concerning the medical profession. 
• Keeping of tariff-political interests and cooperation in tariff questions. 
• Co-operation with the education and retraining of  physicians within the area of the social medicine. 
• Contact to medical and social-medical oriented institutes, committees for work and social medicine with the aim of constructional co-operation. 
• Co-operation and organization of social-medical congresses and  conferences 
• Co-operation with the German Society for Social Medicine and Prevention (DGSMP) as well as other health organisations and professional associations in Germany and Europe.

Whom do we want to address? 

All social-medically interested colleagues and colleagues in the medical services of the social security institutions, the supplying- and employment administration, in clinics, practices and other medical organisations.

 Our annual fee is 40 €; for seniors 20 €.
